Bondestugorna in Lärbro

We are Kerstin Löfgren-Dahlström and Björn Dahlström, and we built the Bondestugan cottages Eken and Tranan. We run a farm with dairy cows, young cattle and calves. Another part of our business is forestry and processing timber from our own forest. The cottages are built using timber from our forest, both on the exterior and inside. A third part of our business is our wind turbine, located in När on southern Gotland.

Our cottages are situated on the edge of a traditional Gotland meadow woodland, home to ancient remains and small rauks (limestone sea stacks). The surrounding area offers lovely walking trails where both wildlife and plants thrive. The cottage Eken is named after the large oak tree on the property, while Tranan takes its name from the hundreds of cranes that usually visit us in August and September.
